About Laleham Products

Laleham Products was set up by Ian Tuson in 1970 and in 1995 it was taken over by his son David. We design and manufacture custom products from our factory in West Sussex.

Our Team

David Tuson

Managing Director

David started working at Laleham Products as a teenager, working with his Father, Ian, who set up the company in 1970. David took over as Managing Director in 1995. He is extremely hands on and is happiest when designing a new product. When not at work, David can be found encouraging youngest daughter from the touch line, watching football with eldest daughter, especially his beloved Pompey, or enjoying a round of golf.

Vanessa Tuson

Director

Having worked for the company part time for a couple of years, Vanessa joined Laleham Products full time in 2009 to concentrate on new business development and marketing. She now combines this with account management and helping David with the day to day running of the company. When not at work, she can be found walking new puppy Lula Mae on the Downs or reading a good book.

Kirsty Wilson

Accounts

Kirsty joined Laleham Products in March 2020. Within a week we were in lockdown, so it has been a bit of a strange introduction to Laleham life! Before joining us, Kirsty was the assistant accountant at Toovey’s Auctioneers. When not at work, Kirsty volunteers as a Community Companion, providing much needed companionship for local Pensioners. She claims to be missing her trips to the gym, but at least she is still getting out and about with her dog Charlie.

Dariusz Baczek

Factory Manager

Dariusz joined Laleham Products in 2013 and is our Factory Manager. He sets up all machines and runs production in the factory. When not at work, Dariusz can be found playing with his young son and, rather more occasionally these days, playing or watching football with his friends!

Lula Mae

Factory Dog

Lula Mae has big boots to fill, following in the steps of her predecessor Friska. Lula is a little dog with a huge personality. She is not exactly a calming influence in the factory yet, but she does make people laugh and she definitely enjoys all the attention she receives from both staff and customers.

Environment

Environmental issues are taken very seriously by Laleham Products. We are totally committed to good environmental business practices, which we believe are essential for the future of Laleham Products and the quality of life of future generations.

All our PVC, polypropylene, paper and card waste is collected and recycled. We will always use recycled material wherever possible. We can offer a 100% recycled polypropylene option called ‘RecyclEX’, which is made from 100% recycled waste. The recycled PVC we use has a 65% recycled content.

All our employees and suppliers are actively encouraged to recognise their responsibilities regarding the protection of the planet.
