If you want a more traditional leather look product, but real leather is beyond your budget, then PU is the perfect solution. It comes in a range of different colours and can be foil blocked or debossed. All binders have perimeter stitching and are foam padded and you can add metal corners if you like. The material on the inside can either match or complement the colour of the PU and can be in standard PVC, suede or silk.
